DOUBLESPEAK,   2012
                        60 by 85 by 185 cm.
Foam, iron, paper, stuffed animals, textile, wood.

DOUBLESPEAK is often used to
deliberately
mislead and deceive the audience
. The aim of doublespeak (constructing words to disguise the
real meaning) is not to even modify people's ideas
on a given subject, rather, it is to achieve conformity
in the way that people act.

Doublespeak is often used in ADVERTISING ('"communication" = "propaganda"/ "efficient" = "profitable") and in the field of POLITICS ("serving
the target" = "bombing"/ "crusade" = "war") whereas,
in the early days of the two concepts it was
considered wrong to construct words to disguise meaning, this is now an accepted and established practice.
